Jordan is now a college student! We packed up everything he thought he would need and headed out of town early Friday morning. Kalee and Chris were able to help us move him in and it went incredibly smoothly. Maybe it was because he didn't think he needed that much! Jordan is rooming with 3 other guys from out of state. They seem like nice guys... I guess time will tell.
We stayed on campus for the Convocation ceremony. The official start to his college career, which we hope will culminate in graduation in 5 years or less ;) The ceremony included the president of the university telling us what a great choice we all had made in their fine institution, the band teaching us the fight song, and free dinner for the families.
We filled the weekend with fun activities, filled his fridge with groceries and left Jordan, standing in front of his new home with a smile on his face as we headed for home. Just Matt and I and the two girls.
Jordan....have fun, study hard, and don't forget where we are! We are always thinking of you,praying for you and love you very much! We are very excited for this new beginning in your life and can't wait to see where the Lord takes you.
